OP ART

This piece was created as an illusion. If you where to look at the image long enough you where supposed to be able to see the skull. I got the inspiration from a picture of Jesus and if you looked at his eyes long enough, they opened. Unfortunately, I didn't get the effect I wanted but, I think it still looks pretty cool!

American Gothic Parody

This is my parody piece of the famous American Gothic. I made this piece because I knew May 4 was coming up and so I wanted to create something to celebrate it a little more!

Metamorphosis GIF

On April 21, 2016 the world lost it's Prince of Pop. Although he left us much to remember him with, he will still be missed. This is a GIF is created to celebrate the life that Prince shared with the world.

Animated GIF

This GIF was created for my brother. He's looking to start a YouTube channel and I thought this would be a cool tribute to it. We where assigned to do a GIF project in this class and this is what I came up with!

Fractured Nursery Rhymes

I created this piece for my Digital Art class. Basically, I wanted to add a twist on the phrase "An apple a day keeps the doctors away." I don't know why I picked such a dark idea, but I did. Overall, I think the piece came out great and I'm proud of what I've done!

Ferris Bueller T-Shirt Design

This piece was a project assigned to my Digital Art class after we had watch the movie Ferris Bueller. The objective was to create a piece that would look good on a t-shirt. I looked up some quotes online and found the quote, "Smile, babe. Just smile..." I decided to use this quote to make a shirt that seemed to give off more positive vibes than negative.

iGoogle

These are just some of the images that came up when I searched my name in Google. Unfortunately, it was what I expected so meshing the images all together wasn't a difficult task because I already had an idea of what I was going to do.

This is a mixed variety of pieces I made using online generators. Normally, I'm quite skeptical on art based programs if it's not photoshop but, I was pretty impressed by what I could do on these websites. My overall opinion- I think what coders and website creators are coming up with is great but I will continue sticking with photoshop because I can definitely define the limits I have using these websites, whereas in Photoshop, everything is possible.

Re-Cover

One of the main things that was outdated on the original book cover was the illustrations. First and foremost the art work on the first book (to the left) is outdated. For the past few years authors have used computer generated book covers instead of someone actually painting a picture on the book. Secondarily, the book covers font looks like it could've been typed with a massive type writer. A very generic font at best. Lastly, the character and 007 logo themselves are outdated by at least 20 years. Overall, this piece was done to accomplish a newer art style, yet still look appealing to the eye.
